MEMBERSHIP
The Bribie Island Surf Life Saving Club invites both children (aged over 6) and adults of any age, who love the ocean, want to help others, and wish to learn more about surf safety to join us. We offer nipper and nipper family memberships and senior memberships from the age of 14. Click here to investigate membership categories further.
The club prides itself at keeping membership fees to a minimum. This year's price guide is here.​
Returning members 14 years and above are requested to renew and pay their membership through the SLSA members portal. A step-by-step guide is attached here.​
Nipper membership is completed during the club sign on day, where pool swims are also conducted. More Nipper information is here.

​​For new members the club will require the following forms and ID to be presented to the office along with the membership fee before membership is complete:
Nipper: 5 – 13 yrs. (for the 2024-25 season only limited places remain)
Application form
Proof of age, i.e. birth certificate or passport
Swim proficiency form
Cadet/Juniors: 14 – 17 yrs.

Active/Award/Associate: 18 yrs. and older
Application form
ID: Birth certificate, passport, drivers licence
Supporters Club membership form, and
a current Volunteer Working with Children Blue Card
All members over the age of 18, holding club roles involving contact with children or youth MUST have a current Volunteer QLD Working with Children Blue Card. To apply for your QLD Working with Children Blue Card go the Blue Card Service Applicant Portal and register for an online account.
Membership Pricing
The Bribie Surf Life Saving club has tried to keep membership costs to a minimum. As a member of the club you required to maintain your awards and complete the necessary patrol obligations.

New members are required to carry out patrols once they complete their appropriate award.
